About HR Adventures

HR Adventures goal is to provide insight into the world of employment and Human Resources through a lens of video games and gaming of any sort. My ultimate goal is to teardown the barriers that have been built up by... to be honest bad human resource professionals and provide resource for both employees and future HR professionals to navigate the employment environment.

In any great campaign, a party only succeeds when everyone is properly equipped for the journey ahead. Navigating the workplace can be its own complex quest, and we believe that no HR professional or employee should have to pay a toll just to get the tools they need to succeed.

Our Pledge to You: We promise that every template, guide, toolkit, and resource provided by HR Adventures will remain 100% free, forever. We will never hide our core HR resources behind a paywall. Our mission is to empower you to level up your workplace, support your team, and tackle any boss-level challenges that come your way.

***SPOILER***

The blog will talk about some tough topics too. I am not the type of person that is going to hold back about topics ranging from diversity, equity, and inclusion; the interview and job offer process, and more.

Most of the blog posts are going to be researched, drawn, and written by myself, and my ultimate goal is to give everyone a better chance of playing the game and allow them to be a part of the adventure. All while seeing how we gamify our community.

I hope you all enjoy the characters, games, resources, and more as we all start this journey!

Top 3 Games of the Month

This is a list of the top 6 games of the month, this list has been discussed and created, even argued. We take this list so seriously that we sometimes forget about what we were talking about? So here we are. The committee has gathered its first top 3 games. Who will be at the top? Who will was forgotten? Who was chosen because of a lucky roll of a d20?

Lord of the Rings Two Towers Trick Taking Game

A narrative card game that lets you play both as villians and heroes. If you ever wanted to play a game and go on a journey and experience the fellowship of the ring, this game I would highly recommend.

If you have not played this yet I highly recommend it. This is resource management game with story. Think Catan with scenarios that impact gameplay.

Big Hops

This is one of the best platformers that I have played in the past couple of years, and with the lack good games coming from Nintendo this game is must play. The vibe is Mario+BOTW+Frogger.

Honorable Mention

Borderlands 4

This is your classic looter shooter. One of the most purchased games of 2025, and I personally can say I have thoroughly enjoyed vault hunting.
